Faqs

What is DARI 3-d motion capture?

DARI Motion is an advanced, FDA-cleared, markerless 3D motion analysis system designed to assess human movement quickly and accurately.

How does it work?

Using multiple 3D cameras and advanced motion-tracking software, DARI captures your movements during a quick series of tasks like squats, lunges, and jumps. The system then generates a detailed report in seconds, highlighting imbalances, limitations, and performance insights.

What does it measure?

DARI captures and analyzes:

  •  Joint angles & range of motion

  •  Movement symmetry & coordination

  •  Postural alignment

  •  Power output (estimated)

  •  Injury risk indicators

  •  Return-to-sport readiness

Who should get screened?

DARI Motion is valuable for:

  •  Athletes – to improve performance and prevent injury

  •  Healthcare providers – for objective movement assessment

  •  Physical therapists – to guide and track rehab

  •  Anyone – looking to move better and feel stronger

Do you only work with baseball players?

Absolutely not. We are willing to work with all kinds of athletes, but we are not only limited to athletes. This can be a great tool for companies, workers comp, active range of motion measures meant for ATC, DPT, etc.

Is the screening safe?

Yes — the DARI system is FDA-cleared and entirely non-invasive. There’s no radiation, no sensors, and no risk. It’s safe for all ages and fitness levels.

What happens after my screen?

You'll get an easy-to-read digital report with:

  •  A breakdown of movement strengths and weaknesses

  •  Injury risk scores and functional performance indicators

  •  Targeted recommendations for training, rehab, or movement correction

We’ll walk you through your results and help design a plan tailored to your goals.

How often should I take a DARI scan?
This depends on your goals and what you want to monitor.

  • For mobility goals: A scan every 2–3 weeks is ideal until your target is reached.

  • For tracking performance metrics: Scanning every 4–8 weeks can help evaluate if your training program is effective.

  • For teams monitoring seasonal trends: A quarterly scan offers valuable insights into how athletes' movement patterns shift throughout the year.

What do the scores on DARI mean?
The top scores are percentile rankings compared to everyone who has taken the test. Your overall score is a combination of three components:

  • Explosiveness: How high you can jump.

  • Functionality: The range of motion you achieve and how well you control it.

  • Dysfunction: Your ability to maintain alignment and symmetry between sides.

What if I can't perform all of the movements?
That’s totally okay. We can customize the scan to fit your current abilities or injury status. Specific movements can be modified or skipped—we’ll always meet you where you’re at.

How do I improve my DARI score?
Improvement depends on which area you want to target:

  • Increase your jump height for explosiveness.

  • Improve your range of motion for better functionality.

  • Focus on control and alignment to reduce dysfunction and enhance symmetry.

How do I know how to correct my high-risk areas?

You can always consult with our staff physical therapist to help with corrective exercises and how to improve your movement faults.

How long does it take?

A standard DARI motion screen takes about 10–15 minutes. Your full report is available right away — no waiting.

What should I wear?

Wear athletic clothing that allows for unrestricted movement. Fitted tops, shorts, or leggings work best. Avoid loose, baggy clothes that might interfere with the motion capture.

Do I need to prepare ahead of time?

No special preparation is needed. Just arrive ready to move comfortably. If you have an injury or limitation, let us know so we can adjust the screen accordingly.

Where do we go to do a DARI?

You can come to our facility, conveniently located in north OKC at 301 NW 132nd st. OKC, OK.

OR we have a traveling unit so that we can COME TO YOU!
